Bridal Party

The Girls:

Kimberly Murphy (Maid of Honour):

I've known Kimberly for over 15 years now. We quickly became friends in elementary school but it wasn't until grade 8 that we became best friends. We have had our ups and downs throughout the years, but after all the hardships we’ve had we have become even closer! We used to like spending time hanging out at Tim Horton’s and watching all the nice modified cars pull in. Kimberly’s my best friend who is always there when I need her, a shoulder to cry on or even to just listen to me vent. Kimberly works at a day care and spends most of her days running around after little ones!

Sarah Roess:

Sarah is Michelle’s younger sister. Sarah and I love to spend our summers outside in the backyard swimming and enjoying the hot weather. Sarah and I are closer now we have ever been. She is going to school at the University of Toronto (UTM). Sarah is aspiring to be working on the medical field someday. Sarah is the best sister ever, she is always there to offer up advise and there to just listen anytime. Sarah has been there throughout the whole wedding planning process, and is always willing to help out wherever needed and has been very supportive. Sarah is a smart, kind and beautiful young woman.

Monika Bardel:

Monika and I have been extremely good friends since elementary school. During high school we had lost our connection. Funny enough, when Phil first introduced me to his friends and their girlfriends, low and behold, Jamie's girlfriend was Monika! From there we picked up right where we had left off as if we never stopped talking. She has been very supportive throughout the whole wedding planning process and is just great to be around. Monika is working as a supply teacher for now but is currently looking for a more permanent position.

Chelsea Vrbensky:

Chelsea and I are cousins. Even though we are, we don’t really consider ourselves to be cousins; she is just like another sister to me. Chelsea is also going to school at the University of Toronto (like Sarah). When we were younger, Sarah, Chelsea and I spent a lot of time together, including a number of family trips to Montreal and other random places with ghosts!! Chelsea is very into fitness and being healthy, she even brings her own little baggies of vegetables in her purse wherever she goes! Chelsea is a hard worker at anything she puts her mind to, she is a very strong willed, beautiful and a caring young woman

The Guys:

Jamie Sheepway (Best Man):

Jamie and Phil have known each other since grade 7 in elementary school. Ever since they met they've been pretty much inseparable. Phil and Jamie love getting into crazy adventures together and for many years did absolutely everything together. From crazy drives down to the States, to biking past Hamilton at 1am (when I was supposed to be home at 10pm) and learning how to play squash together, Phil and Jamie have stayed close. Despite his tough exterior, Jamie's a pretty sweet guy and can always be counted on in a pinch. Never one to rest or take time off (much like Phil), Jamie's currently working at Budd's BMW and Staples on the weekend.

Jason Kohls:

After meeting Phil the first day he moved into his current house, Jason pretty much ignored Phil for a good two years. It wasn't until high school when these two became awesome friends. Although he likes to pull disappearing acts every once in awhile, Jason's an extremely good friend who always knows when to listen or when to crack a random joke. As most of our friends know, all the craziest weekend's have happened up at Jay's cottage at Blue Mountain. And when Jason's not skiing up at Blue, he's working hard (and probably over time) as an electrician.

Sean Brown:

Sean and Phil have been friends for a really long time. Funny enough they actually played T-Ball together when they were really really young and didn't realize until much later in their lives. Sean's an amazing friend who's always willing to lend a helping hand and jumps in at every opportunity to help Phil and Michelle with their many car issues. He's currently working at Canadian Tire paying his way through school and is having a crazy amount of fun with his new orange/yellow Jeep!

Marwan Abdalla:

Marwan and Phil met eight years ago at South Common Rogers Video. At that time Marwan was a seasoned video vet and taught Phil the ropes of how Rogers worked. Who knew 2 years later Phil would be Manager at another Rogers Video and Marwan would be working for him? (The student surpasses the teacher?!) With personalities that just clicked, Marwan and Phil have stayed friends throughout the years at Rogers, and even after both leaving Rogers, stay in touch as much as possible. Marwan and his girlfriend, Erica, go to the movies as much as possible with Phil and Michelle. Currently he works for the city as an EMS and has dreams of one day becoming a cop.
